POWER GLIDE INPUT SHAFTS
17 spline standard and TH400 style 30 spline, theses shafts are CNC machined
from Hy-Tuf steel and vacuum furnace heat treated to 105 tons tensile strengh.
These sturdy shafts are 'mono' design and work equally well with 1.76 or
1.82 gear sets. Good for 800 HP
For the big cubic inch, big horsepower racer who needs an input shaft that
will handle heaps of grunt, there is only one choice, the "top gun"
of input shafts which is CNC machined from ultra clean, vacuum melted Maraging
350 steel (20% stronger than commonly used Maraging 300), heat treated in
computer controlled vacuum furnaces, the usual style of these shafts for
the Powerglide is 30 splines, length to suit the heavy duty 1.76 gear set,
with no bushing to restrict converter oiling. |

FORD C4 AND C6 INPUT SHAFTS
These shafts are CNC machined featuring reduced middle section
to enable torsional twist, available in vacuum furnace heat treated Hy-tuf
steel or for the Ford racer with big horsepower on tap the Maraging 350
steel. |

TRANSBRAKE SOLENOID
CNC machined zinc plated housings with a 2 wire coil wound on
a powder coated aluminium bobbin (not plastic), draws 10 amps .240"
stroke, almost impossible to fail, will easily hold oversized "pro-brake"
valves, winding wire and bobbin can handle 180 celsius, so high temp usage
is not a problem for those late round races.

POWERGLIDE CLUTCH HUB
CNC machined and splined from carbon steel billets, broached
internal splines, these hubs feature a length of 1.260" which allows
maximum clutch fill with the standard drum. |

FORD C4 "4 PINION" PLANET CARRIER
CNC machined and milled from carbon steel billets, broached internal
splines, tuffride or nitride heat treated, kit includes new axle pins,
needle rollers, gear thrust washers and 2 one piece torrington bearings
for either side of the carrier, features lube channels to feed oil to
the gear thrust washers and needle rollers. |

DRAG SPRAG
CNC machined inner and outer races are made from 4% nickel case
hardening steels, a sykes gear generator cuts 26 ramps onto the inner
race, using a custom designed shape cutter, the outer race features oiling
grooves and a mounting spigot for a torrington thrust bearing, and is
precision ground after case hardening, a circlip spring loads the 26 rollers
(note this product is still in the proving stages of development). |
